Bayshore Eye Care is currently open to serve our patients eye care needs. Our staff have been advised and educated as to the current CDC protocol for office sterilization and patient safety techniques to be used during in response to the COVID19 viral outbreak.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC) is closely monitoring an outbreak of respiratory illness caused by a novel (new) coronavirus first identified in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. Additional cases have been identified in a growing number of other international locations, including the United States. Monitoring, reporting and guidance is provided regularly by the CDC.
Eye health care services have been deemed as essential by Federal, State andHomeland Security agencies for urgent and emergency purposes. Keeping our patients out of the hospital emergency room helps both in keeping you healthy and allows hospital staff to focus on critically ill patient’s needs.
If you or someone close to you has a fever above 99.5 degrees, coughing, sore throat, chills, or any flu like symptoms including redness in or around both eyes and you are experiencing an ocular emergency please call us at 941-751-4668 to arrange treatment and management options available.
Due to the Corona Virus our office will be closing at noon on Fridays for sterilization until further notice.
